Two-time GRAMMY® Award winner Ann Nesby makes a powerful return with ANNiversary, her first studio album in over a decade. Released on April 11, 2025, the album features three standout singles: “My Man,” which reached No. 29 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, the uplifting anthem “Ain’t Gotta Worry,” and the soulful duet “Let’s Stay Together” featuring Calvin Richardson. Each track blends modern soul with the rich emotional storytelling that has defined her career.

Nesby earned her two GRAMMY® Awards as the former lead singer of the legendary group Sounds of Blackness, whose timeless songs like “Optimistic” and “The Pressure” helped shape the sound of inspirational R&B. As a solo artist, she has released several acclaimed albums and earned six GRAMMY® nominations across gospel and R&B categories, collaborating with icons such as Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Patti LaBelle, and Al Green.

Her impact extends beyond music. Nesby toured in the Broadway production of TINA: The Tina Turner Musical, held a recurring role on Ava DuVernay’s acclaimed OWN series Queen Sugar, and appeared in feature films including The Fighting Temptations.

In 2025, she stepped into a new creative chapter as executive producer and narrator of CIRILO, A Legacy Untold, an Oscar-qualifying short documentary that deepens her legacy as a storyteller.
